Mark your calendar.  Every year Southern Nevada Pickleball sponsors the Heroes Open Pickleball Tournament at Sunset Park.  Proceeds from the tournament support First Responder and Veterans Programs.

This year, the games will be held at the Black Mountain Pickleball Courts - Henderson, Nevada.

Competition by Age Group & Skill Level

Age Groups: 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

(Age group determined by age as of December 31 this year)

 

NSGA Skill Levels: Division 1 through Division 4 (see Important Notes below) with skill rating per DUPR rating at time of registration close.

SSG Level: Beginners Bracket 2.5 for age group 50-69 and 70+

USSP National Championship is an Age/Skill tournament for ages 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. After registration closes, events will be split into 5-year age/skill groups for medaling purposes. Age groups/skill levels may be combined for bracketing. ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW ONCE EVENTS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED.

Registration is $75, plus $15 for each doubles event. Singles events are $20 each.

USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount IF the player has their USSP Membership number in the player profile in pickleballbrackets.com
Registration opens on July 1st, 2026 and closes on November 15, 2026.

This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.

To join USSP, go to https://usseniorpickleball.org , only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.

The tournament will limit registration to 750 players, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.
Brackets/Events will be round robin with pool play for events with large numbers of teams, single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 4 matches per event.
