All Skills 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 - if you are a current USSP member, that rating is used. Otherwise DUPR is used.

Golden Ticket Tournaments offer participants an unrivaled player experience including an exclusive gift at USA Pickleball-operated events and the opportunity to compete at some of the best pickleball venues across the country. Only at these tournaments will gold medal winners receive a “Golden Ticket,” granting them priority registration for the USA Pickleball National Championships. This tournament is for the benefit of Special Olympics Nevada. The focus of the tournament is fun, friendship, and charity. Net proceeds from this tournament will be donated to Special Olympics Nevada.
The events will be divided into three major age groups (Open: 49 and under, Senior: 50-64, and Senior Plus: 65 and better) and four skill divisions (3.0 and below, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 and above)
Events will be Womens Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Mens Doubles. Mixed Doubles will be played on February 27, 2026. Womens Doubles and Mens Doubles will be played on February 28, 2026
Minimum bracket size: 3 teams
Maximum bracket size: 12 teams
All brackets will be round robin format with a minimum of 4 games. Bracket details and draws will be posted no later than 7 days prior to the tournament start (although subsequent changes are possible due to late player withdrawals). Changes to the original postings will be announced as soon as possible after they occur, with no changes to players or formats allowed later than 24 hours before the start of a bracket.
The Excel Pickleball DUPR Club will host our first DUPR Required, DUPR Verified, DUPR Enforced, DUPR Reported tournament for those players that want more reliable match results for their DUPR ratings. more info...
Teams will register and then be split into groups of 4 teams based on the Highest Skill level of player on the team AND the total aggregate skill level of ALL players to ensure teams are competing with other teams of similar skill levels.
Players will Self-Rate. However, the player's DUPR rating will be verified at the time of registration. Players may not play in a Division below their current DUPR rating at the time of registration.
Skill levels may be verified with DUPR. However, match results will NOT be submitted to DUPR.
4-Player Team Competition Rules Summary (Sat ONLY)
SIGN UP
Each Player participating in this Team Competition must register and pay for the event.
Your TEAM CAPTAIN must first create the team. Once the team has been created, all players may register to play on that team.
FORMAT
Each team will consist of 4 players (Co-ed with 2 Men and 2 Women).
MATCHES
Each Match will consist of 4 games: a Men’s Doubles game, a Women’s Doubles game, and 2 Mixed Doubles games. The Team Captain will determine the pairings for each game. If necessary to break a 2-game to 2-game tie, a Mini Singles/Singles Tie-Breaker game to 21 will be played to determine the Match winner. (See SINGLES TIE-BREAKER TO DETERMINE MATCH WINNER below.)
• Number of teams will be limited, so register early.
• Tournament is designed for those with skill ratings of 2.5-4.5 - If you do not have a DUPR score, please self rate (honestly :) Skill levels may be verified with DUPR. However, match results will NOT be submitted to DUPR.
• Brackets will be made up by skill and age. Round Robin format with top 3 teams awarded medals.
• Play to 15, win by 2
• Minimum age of players 14 years.
• You will need to check-in 30 minutes prior to event. Final brackets and times will be posted online and you will be notified by email.
• 10 Permanent Courts - Additional courts will be added as needed with an area for practice and warmup
• Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for each bracket
• Swag Bag for all players

• In case of inclement weather, play may be extended into the evening.
• Please note: Payments will be required at time of registration.
• No refunds will be provided after March 7th, 2026

Daily Tournament Schedule:
8AM - Earliest possible start time, NOT all divisions will start at 8AM
Tournament Fee Breakdown - Each player must register and pay separately. Your total fee is comprised of 3 different fees:
1. Early Registration Fee - $45 per player - NOT PER TEAM - This will increase to $70 after 100 players have registered.
2. Event Fee - $30 per event - Singles, Gender Doubles and/or Mixed each has a separate fee. If you play in one event, it's $30, two it's $60, three it's $90.
3. PB Brackets Service Fee - $5-10 - This is charged by the platform, we have no control over this fee.
We will not have the exact bracket start times until after registration closes.
*Registration for Friday's The Dink MiLP Team Event is separate from Friday's Singles, Saturday's Gender Doubles and Sunday's Mixed Doubles. A player cannot play in The Dink MiLP and singles on Friday.
The Dink MiLP Price: $70.00 per player (must register and pay as a team) - this is completely separate from the NP Chicago Winter Classic tournament fee - registration URL is below.
The Dink MLPlay™ FORMAT
The Dink Minor League Pickleball is team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other using the MLPlay™ format: team matches are composed of four 21-point games (rally scoring), one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.
