On Sunday, March 2, the Junior League of Las Vegas (JLLV) 2024-2025 Provisional Class will be hosting the Pickleball For A Purpose Tournament & Fundraiser at Chicken N Pickle in Henderson, NV. 

This event will raise critical funds to support JLLV’s ongoing community programs. 
 

March Madness has BOTH Gender Doubles and 4-Player Team competition. You may play on both days, but may only play in one event per day.

Players will Self-Rate. However, the player's DUPR rating will be verified at the time of registration. Players may not play in a Division below their current DUPR rating at the time of registration.

Your TEAM CAPTAIN must first create the team. Once the team has been created, all players may register to play on that team.

Friday, March 28– Player Clinic hosted by Southern Nevada Pickleball

• 5:00-6:00pm- Recreational & Intermediate Divisions
• 6:00-7:00pm- Advanced Divisions

Saturday, March 29 – Age 12U Divisions

• 12U Recreational- 7:30am Check In, 8:00 am Start Time
• 12U Intermediate- 11:00am Check In, 11:30 am Start Time
• 12U Advanced- 2:30pm Check In, 3:00 pm Start Time

Sunday, March 30 – Age 13-16 Divisions

• Age 13-16 Recreational- 7:30am Check In, 8:00 am Start Time
• Age 13-16 Intermediate- 11:00am Check In, 11:30 am Start Time
• Age 13-16 Advanced- 2:30pm Check In, 3:00 pm Start Time

Skill Levels

Recreational – No DUPR - 2.89 DUPR

Familiar with the rules of pickleball and side out scoring. Has played recreationally with friends and family. Can reliably hit the ball overthe net and into the court.

Intermediate – 2.9-3.50 DUPR

Experience in local league and/or local tournament play. Has the ability to hit basic shots (dink, drop, drive, serve, overhead) on aconsistent basis.

Advanced –  3.50+ DUPR

Can execute all skills with consistency and has advanced strategy knowledge. Competitive tournament experience in local, regional and national tournament tours.

To contact another player:

• Click on the "Registration" tab, then scroll to Doubles or Team division.
• Click "View Teams" (blue) to the right of the desired age/skill division.
• Click "Contact" (blue) next to the player name you wish to contact. This will bring up the NJP messaging system to send an email.

** NJP does not give out player information or assign partnerships.**

To select a Doubles Partner:

• After registering, log in to player Pbrally account.
• On right hand side under "My Registration" heading, click "edit" then "change team"
• Select player to partner with. This only needs to be done by one of the players.
• If you are partnering with a player in another division, the YOUNGER/LOWER SKILLED PLAYER must select "change division" to move up to the older/higher skilled players division. Then you will be able to make partner selections.

To create a new DUPR Account for Juniors under 13: Currently DUPR requires extra verification for Junior accounts under age 13.

1. Go to https://dupr.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
2. Select option "Account Creation for Child Under 13"
3. In the description enter: National Junior Pickleball (This will make sure they prioritize your account creation)
4. If you have any issues, please contact support@mydupr.com. NJP is not involved in DUPR account creation or management.
